(Install a treated wooden border, if required) Spread and level a 50mm sub base of Type 1 MOT. Then 25mm Grit Sand.

Compact the Type 1 MOT first with a hand roller or vibrating plate. Then repeat for the grit sand. 

Roll out weed retaining membrane to the sub base. Overlap joints by 300mm.

Roll out the grass and trim the edges using a craft knife.

If joining; lay all rolls in the same direction so the blades of grass all point the same way and ensure that they are butted together.

Apply adhesive onto jointing tape and spread along join surface. Place roll edge onto tape making sure the fibres do not touch the glue. Ruffle the pile to disguise the joint.
